Warm the tube to get the clinker out of the tube. Smooth the base coat with a warm lubricating iron so that the base coat covers the entire grip area evenly. Smooth with a thumb or synthetic cork and cool the ski.<br \/>Apply the temperature-appropriate conditioner drop by drop to the grip area, so that the conditioner droplets are in a regular line about 5 cm apart on either side of the ski boot guide zone. Use either a thumb or a cork stick to spread the clinker to form an even layer.
