Description
TheMotobécane Concept Team Champion bike takes you back in time to 1973, when Luis Ocaña won the Tour de France. The Concept Team Champion is based on that winning bike, the Team Champion model. No detail has been overlooked – even the gears are built into the frame, just like the original.
The frame is made of Reynolds #520 Cr-Mo steel, while the gears are shifted by a Shimano Claris gearshift. The Claris is designed for versatile use, with the right number of gears for both urban and off-road riding. Gear changes are light, fast and precise. At the same time, the Claris transmission is quite robust and requires minimal maintenance.
Panaracer GravelKing SK 28″ tyres are built for high speeds on the roughest surfaces. Sharp tread pattern, natural rubber compound and puncture resistance ensure a quality tyre. The Panaracer GravelKing SK tyre has a firm grip on gravel roads, but comfort is maintained. On asphalt, it rolls lightly and almost silently.
The classic style is also evident on the handlebars – wrapped in brown tread tape for comfort and durability.
