The wavy pattern on the back of the chair is inspired by Japanese culture and traditions. Waves bring joy!
The stylish brown colour (“Haniwa Brown”) is close to the Japanese roots. Haniwa dolls were made in Japan 1500 years ago from clay and still have a deep meaning in Japan. They symbolise a direct connection to the earth and stability.
The black colour of the chair (“Bincho Black”) is inspired by the Japanese Bincho-tan, a special charcoal used in rituals, symbolising strength and protection.
