Urban Iki BIO highchairs are made from BIO plastic, produced from rice husks that are easily visible on the chair.
The design pattern on the back of the highchair is inspired by Japanese culture and traditions. These waves are reminiscent of the ups and downs of life. The shade of brown (Haniwa Brown) is essential to Japanese roots. Haniwa clay puppets were made 1500 years ago and still have an important meaning for the Japanese. This colour symbolises connection with nature and stability. The shade of black (Bincho Black) is inspired by the Japanese Bincho-Tan charcoal used in rituals and symbolises strength and protection.
