The wave pattern on the seat backrest is inspired by Japanese culture and traditions. Waves bring joy! The grey colour (Suzume Grey) is inspired by the feathers of swallows. In Japan, the swallow symbolises forgiveness and perseverance – qualities we would like to pass on to our little ones. The seat’s black colour (“Bincho Black”) is inspired by Japanese Bincho-tan, a special type of charcoal used in rituals, symbolising strength and protection.
