Nutcase helmets have led the way in safety and comfort over the last few years. Updated for 2020, incorporating the MIPS safety feature and an EPS protective foam tailored for toddlers, designed to dissipate any force and protect their head! The updated design ensures maximum comfort and fit, while focusing on support and support for their little neck and head. With an updated Fidlock magnetic lock system, the fastenings do not pinch and are easy for children to use too!
**TECHNICAL INFORMATION:**
- MIPS – a low friction mobile layer that stays between the helmet and the head. The MIPS layer slides 5-15 mm in any direction on impact, reducing the impact of a concussion. This technology is also used in newer cars to reduce the impact force
- Lightweight polycarbonate outer shell designed with the strength of the child’s neck in mind
- Innovative Fidlock® snap-and-go magnetic latch system – the latch won’t pinch or rub
- 11 ventilation openings – 15% more ventilation than conventional helmets – to prevent head sweating and overheating
- Heat-resistant, 3-piece cushioning and GROW Flex Fit System attach the helmet to the head horizontally or vertically for a custom fit and comfort
- Designed, tested and CPSC certified for ages 1 year and older
