The ECO 1000 exercise bike takes your home workouts to a whole new level. Because here, you are your own source of energy. Thanks to its energy generation, it operates entirely without external electricity and also supplies the electricity it has stored via the USB port on the computer (for example, to charge a smartphone or tablet during your workout).
Energy is generated using its own generator technology (no mains power or batteries required). Training with the ECO 1000 combines eco-friendly and health-conscious behaviour.
The ECO 1000 is equipped with a wear-resistant magnetic braking system weighing approximately 10 kg and a quiet flat belt drive, ensuring a quiet workout and excellent rolling behaviour. Training resistance can be precisely adjusted using the 24-level, computer-controlled resistance setting.
The computer with a backlit LCD screen allows you to view 7 values at a time. It is very easy to read and simple to operate thanks to clear control buttons. Individual training goals can be achieved by selecting different programmes. A varied workout is possible thanks to 12 pre-set training programmes, as well as heart rate-controlled training across four heart rate-based programmes. With five personal training programmes, you can create your own training programmes, whilst the rotation-independent wattage programme allows for targeted and consistent resistance training at a freely selectable frequency. The fitness test function evaluates your workout after training according to a rating scale.
The handrails on the exercise bike allow you to use hand pulse sensors to monitor your heart rate during training. Heart rate training via a heart rate monitor is optional, as the computer is equipped with a built-in receiver for non-branded heart rate monitors with a transmission frequency of 5.0–5.5 kHz. The comfort saddle is adjustable horizontally, vertically and for tilt, ensuring a comfortable training position. Non-slip pedals with a pedal safety strap ensure a stable and secure foot position during training. The front wheels allow the machine to be moved easily, and the adjustable footrests ensure the machine remains stable.
In addition, the ECO 1000 is equipped with the Kinomap feature. This enables an entertaining and interactive workout with Android or iOS devices, as well as the recording of workout data. Following a free trial period, the Kinomap app can be purchased for a monthly fee.
