Description
Fixie Excelsior Dandy is a statement in its own right – pure minimalism without compromise, nothing superfluous. Excelsior has stripped its Dandy model down to the bare minimum to get from A to B in the city quickly and sportily. Without gears, it’s all up to the rider to get this classic-looking steel frame moving. The lightweight wheels with 23mm narrow tyres and the fact that the bike has little more than a sporty saddle, colour-matched grips on the straight handlebars and two thumb brakes help.
If you want to turn a singlespeed into a fixie, you just have to turn the rear wheel. A flip-flop rear hub allows you to switch to a rigid cog without freewheeling. This makes the Dandy completely minimalist.
The manufacturer is Excelsior.

If you would like us to assemble the bicycle for you, please choose the service “Bicycle Assembly” under the “Velomarket Recommends” section. If you come to pick up the bicycle yourself from either of our stores, you can leave with a bike that is ready to ride.
If you order bicycle assembly and courier delivery to your home, the bicycle will be delivered 85% assembled. The brakes and gears are adjusted in the workshop, but to prevent transport damage, the pedals are removed and the handlebar is turned sideways. For larger bicycles, the front wheel is also removed.
If you would like to have additional accessories installed, please indicate this in the comments field. Installation can be paid for on-site or later by invoice. With courier delivery, we can install a kickstand, basket mount and mudguard mounts, but the basket itself and the mudguards should be installed after receiving the goods.
The buyer is responsible for the correct final assembly of the bicycle and preparing it for use. Please note that failure to comply with this requirement will void the product warranty. For safety and to maintain the warranty, we recommend having your bicycle assembled and adjusted by a professional bicycle workshop.
