Description
The Giant Trance 2 29″ is a versatile mountain bike built on a lightweight, rigid and ultra-strong ALUXX SL frame assembly that combines our latest Maestro suspension technology with adjustable frame geometry. The Advanced Forged Composite ratchet lever features a ratchet chip that allows for adjustable frame geometry. Choose from steeper or looser head tube/seat tube angles and either a 35mm or 45mm lower clamp drop to tailor handling to your driving style and terrain. It’s designed around a 130 mm suspension arm and the overall geometry is tuned to maximise its performance on rough tracks.
Adjustable frame geometry
A new flap-tip feature allows you to adjust the angle of the head tube, seat tube and lower crown height to tailor handling to different track conditions and individual riding styles.
Trance 2 confidence and control
Larger 29-inch diameter wheels optimised to roll over rough terrain with balance and stability, giving you the boost to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly on fast and tough single track descents.
Progressive track design
The lightweight ALUXX SL aluminium frame set features a longer reach and steeper seat tube for aggressive tracking and improved climbing performance. The updated Maestro rear suspension features 120 mm of rear wheel travel with 130 mm of fork travel at the front.

If you would like us to assemble the bicycle for you, please choose the service “Bicycle Assembly” under the “Velomarket Recommends” section. If you come to pick up the bicycle yourself from either of our stores, you can leave with a bike that is ready to ride.
If you order bicycle assembly and courier delivery to your home, the bicycle will be delivered 85% assembled. The brakes and gears are adjusted in the workshop, but to prevent transport damage, the pedals are removed and the handlebar is turned sideways. For larger bicycles, the front wheel is also removed.
If you would like to have additional accessories installed, please indicate this in the comments field. Installation can be paid for on-site or later by invoice. With courier delivery, we can install a kickstand, basket mount and mudguard mounts, but the basket itself and the mudguards should be installed after receiving the goods.
The buyer is responsible for the correct final assembly of the bicycle and preparing it for use. Please note that failure to comply with this requirement will void the product warranty. For safety and to maintain the warranty, we recommend having your bicycle assembled and adjusted by a professional bicycle workshop.
