The Christopeit WP 5000 rowing machine, made from solid oak. With its stable design, this rowing machine simulates an authentic and joint-friendly rowing workout thanks to an innovative resistance system comprising water resistance and directly adjustable magnetic resistance.
You determine the intensity of your workout primarily through the strength of your strokes (fast and intense strokes to build muscle, slow strokes to increase endurance). The water level in the large water tank (approx. Ø 57 cm) can be freely adjusted. The wear-free 16-level magnetic braking system ensures even greater flexibility; in addition to water resistance, it allows you to quickly and easily adjust the resistance by turning the outer ring. With a seat height of 30 cm, a stroke length of 95 cm, a comfortable seat on ball bearings and adjustable footrests with straps allow people between 150 cm and 220 cm in height and weighing up to 150 kg to train smoothly and safely.
A modern computer records all key training data: time per 500 m, speed in km/h, training time, distance, approximate calorie burn, heart rate, total number of strokes, strokes per minute, and magnetic resistance level – whether in static or variable mode, which can be adjusted via the computer. The LED display ensures the data is easy to read in any lighting conditions. You can securely attach your smartphone or tablet to the tablet holder.
The innovative ball-bearing rowing mechanism with quick-release clamps allows the rowing machine to be folded away quickly and easily (to a height of approximately 140 cm). When the rowing machine is folded away, the seat also locks into place, ensuring it remains stable even in a vertical position. Three transport castors – one of which can rotate 360° – make it easy to reposition the machine in a vertical position, meaning the rowing machine can be accommodated in almost any living space.
In addition, the WP 5000 supports Bluetooth connectivity in accordance with the 4.0 standard. The device is also compatible with the Kinomap app. This allows you to train in an entertaining way and record your training data using Android or iOS devices. After the free trial period, the Kinomap app can be purchased for a fee!
