Adjustable water resistance
The R30W water tank consists of two separate tanks: an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is the “passive tank” or water reservoir, while the outer tank is the “active tank” or resistance tank. When you turn the knob to a higher resistance while rowing, water moves from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will feel more resistance after a few strokes. When you select a lower resistance, water is sucked back from the active tank to the passive tank, which is why you will feel less resistance after a few strokes. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank system has been refined and fine-tuned down to the last detail: if the water level is not exceeded, the tank will never leak, even when placed upright. That is why the water tank is covered by a lifetime warranty (25 years) for home use.

The tank frame can withstand even the strongest pull without effort.
The steel structure above the tank absorbs most of the force during your workout. This happens because you push off the footplate and pull on the pulley at the front using the cable. Since the R30W frame is made from a single piece of curved steel, it prevents creaking and creaking and feels extremely strong. The R30W sits on raised legs for ease of use, and the seat’s two-pronged rail provides extra stability. The bearings under the seat move smoothly on the rails, ensuring that rowing is always quiet – all you hear is the sound of the water moving.

Ergonomic handle for good grip and correct posture.
The Tunturi Platinum R30W is equipped with an ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra wide shape, it ensures the best grip during every pull-up. Your body automatically assumes the correct posture, allowing you to apply maximum force. The handle is connected to a nylon belt that is strong, quiet and stable. The bungee, or elastic pull cord, is optimized so that it does not increase resistance, but smoothly pulls the belt back into the training device as soon as you move forward. This happens in one smooth movement, without the bungee creating a pulling feeling or the belt “breaking” when moving.

Each foot firmly in place.
The footplates are height-adjustable and have two strong, separate foot straps that allow you to fix each foot individually. Your feet are close together, just like in a real rowing boat. Both footplates have a specially designed “basket” at the bottom. Thanks to this design, the heel pad precisely supports your heel bone and moves with you during every rowing movement. As a result, your foot never slips off the plate while rowing.
