STIGA’s legendary Snowracer® steering wheels have been going down and up the mountain for almost 50 years. The classic steering sled was first introduced in 1972 and is still a firm favourite with children and adults alike. Many of us have fond memories of sledding with the family on fluffy snow in white winters, and time for a break for sandwiches and hot chocolate. Or maybe you used a sledge to get to school or the local shop and back home? The snowracer is often passed down from generation to generation and it’s easy to see why. Sledding is one of the endless fun times outdoors with the family. The Stiga steering wheel is here to stay, even though the colours and details have been updated over time.
There are a variety of Snowracer models, so to make the choice easier, here’s a quick product introduction. The wheelchairs all share a sturdy steel frame and footrest.

The Iconic Snowracer® is the new smallest model in our wide range of steering wheels. Fast moving and lightweight, it is easy for small children to pull up the slope. Straight-edged front wheels, easy-to-steer steering wheel and foot brakes for a safe ride. Maximum user weight 80 kg. Suitable for ages 5+.

Stiga sledges are designed to allow children to enjoy the snow as safely as possible. Provided the sled is used correctly. We recommend wearing protective equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.).
