Are you looking for a lightweight 16-inch bike? With its lightweight frame and classic design, the Academy Grade 3 children’s bike is a real eye-catcher amongst children! Weighing just 5.5 kg, the bike is easy for a child to handle and offers greater riding enjoyment thanks to its precise cornering and acceleration. The bike has a single gear and is fitted with V-brakes. Academy children’s bikes are designed in collaboration with specialists, feature an ultra-lightweight frame and meet the very latest ergonomic requirements. Academy bikes are 40 per cent lighter than the average child’s weight. Short cranks and an upright riding position allow the child to put their feet down at any time, whilst still ensuring an ergonomic knee position whilst riding. The bike is fitted with an adjustable stem, allowing the riding position to be precisely adjusted to suit the child’s preferences.

If you would like us to assemble the bicycle for you, select the “Bicycle Assembly” service under the “Velomarket recommends” section.
If you order bicycle assembly and home delivery by courier, the bicycle will be delivered 90–97% assembled (depending on the weight and dimensions of the bicycle ordered). The bicycle will be fully assembled and adjusted in our workshop. However, to prevent damage during transportation, we remove the pedals and turn the handlebars to the side. For bicycles with carbon fibre frames, as well as larger electric bicycles, the front wheel is also packed separately in the box.
Please note that bicycle assembly adds 1–2 business days to the order processing time.
If you would like us to install additional equipment, please indicate this in the comments field. Installation can be paid for on site or later by invoice. With courier delivery, we can install a kickstand, basket mount and mudguard mounts, but we kindly ask you to install the basket and mudguards yourself after receiving the goods.
