The Tunturi Yoga Mat 8 mm is ideal for all yoga forms where you perform a lot of poses lying down or seated, such as yin yoga, yoga nidra and meditation. This is because the mat is thicker than “normal” yoga mats (3-4 mm), which provides extra comfort and allows you to relax faster. Ideal if a hard floor at home or in the gym easily causes discomfort.

Less strain on muscles and joints
The mat is also very suitable for other forms of exercise such as fitness and pilates, even if you suffer from (chronic) pain or are recovering from an injury. The thickness reduces stress on your back, legs, knees, ankles and joints.
